Thanks to riderBoy for letting me use his original template: riderb0y.deviantart.com/art/Ch…Well, we just got our promo for the special Kamen Rider Drive episode 0 that will be given out only to people who attend the Kamen Rider Drive VS Gaim movie. JOY.

And so far, the show is pretty much spelling out that Mashin-Chaser is Proto-Drive.

No, Mr. Belt is the most likely candidate to have been proto-drive. I read his article on the wikia, but I won't spoil anything if you haven't read it yet.
From what I've seen about Machine Chaser and Kamen Rider Mach, it seems pretty clear to me that Chase is going to pull a Akira Nijino. I won't spoil anything in case you don't know, but I will say the basis for this theory is the Ride Crosser. The only other way that thing would make sense if if Chase pulled a heel-face turn but did not become a Kamen Rider.

Oh so you already knew about those things huh? I'm sure we'll definitely see some of "Mr. Belt"'s backstory in episode 0, that much is entirely for certain.
