I have to agree with a lot of the people here about loving the soft tones. I also love the contrasts with how the dark background really makes the model pop out. The different shades of red with the rose, hair and dress is lovely too.

One of the truly beautiful things about Waterhouse's paintings were the feelings expressed on the women's faces, you really captured that, it's beautiful work.
