Well I got a good grade but my overall portfolio that I supported got a 3 (out of five) which is honestly pretty good for being a sophomore. And thank you very much~

this is brilliant! My art teacher (who is an artist herself) was making one of these during class when we were doing own own things! This is amazing!

That's what I was going for, glad it shows. I was surprised how deep it looks when in reality I didn't go that far back into the book. Thank you for the lovely comment also~

Oh yeah, I've seen his stuff while I was researching what I wanted to do. I tried to do something different from what he did.

Thank you very much for the kind words.
I'm sure there was a story in there somewhere. I think it was a commentary on an author. One chapter there was something about the economy and the next page he was talking about beavers and dams. It was really strange.

Hehe well I try? They're actually not as frustrating as I though they'd be you just need to be careful you don't stab yourself. Plus they're pretty portable when they're like this first one that doesn't have random stuff poking out. Ask away~

Everyone usually does vessels and vases for their 3D concentration. I rolled around in this stressful rut before coming up with this.

wow, it's gorgeous. What did you use to cut everything? just scissors? did you trace it out then start cutting?

I cut with an exacto blade very very carefully. I haven't impaled myself yet . Because of the way it was layered I began with the front and just sort of added on towers when I wanted them.

I had a little sketch so I knew what I wanted but I didn't follow it exactly. Some of it I made up as I went along.

Thankies. My deviantArt will be inundated with lots of stuff that isn't fanart. Lots more books on their way...
