Zazu - mainly due to his disabilities probably - only noticed that they were not alone when Riley nudged him with an elbow, hinting at the shadows surrounding them. They were MOVING fffwhatwasthat?? Riley had been feeling pretty uncomfortable all along, feeling watched, and feeling watched meant feeling threatened. There was something going on he didn't know about and he did not like that fact. At all. Zazu looked at Kimberly, nodding, yes he was seeing that, too. And when the Black Knights finally showed themselves, Riley had already long guessed what could be going on, innerly cursing to himself because PPFFF STUPID PRANKS that's far too dangerous what if someone got hurt or what if HE hurt someone, they can be glad he wasn't allowed to carry a weapon blablapffff nope, he didn't like surprises, but of course he kept quiet. Zazu instead was all JOYFUL to see them. Because. OHHhhh one of them could be his brother Roulette maybe?? Sssuuch an epic show.
He needed to wait until they had taken their masks off so he could tell who was who xD. Hearing his brother's voice before spotting him got him all excited and he couldn't help himself but go hug him tightly. AWWWbrother. While they were busy telling each other how badass the other of them was, Riley's heart slooowly melted and he tried his best being more friendly now xD. Which was good, because then Kimberly introduced him and Zazu to her father Alley who was also among the Black Knights (and Riley approving him veeerry much more than the guy who was believing to be Kimberly's father) and so they all together ended up having some nice (mainly) peaceful campfire talk, with Vidar joining them for a little before he left to check on Kalinka. x3
