RP: (happens after their performance)

" I have to admit you do know how to ride. " he said with a a slight smirk on his face when they were done with their round. It went pretty well and he rewarded his mare with a few strokes over her neck. Letting her walk so she could catch her breath again. He has been quite silent again. It was just still hard to talk to others. Even his father. " I must thank you for the medicine, it helped me a lot. I can finally join competitions without fighting with them. " He let Nightingale walk next to them so he didn't have to shout and laid his hand on Rileys shoulder. " really..thank you. "

"Well, now I'm sure you're making a pretty good trainer for CBS as well, you got a pretty precise style. I'm proud", Riley smiled at him. Asif still seemed to be full of energy, eeassily would have been up for a second round and just waiiiting for the command to do something more exciting again! Riley wasn't minding the silence; even if it seemed like an awkward situation to everyone else, Riley wouldn't find it any. He loved watching his son. Zazu would have nudged him with an elbow to whisper to him how he reminds him of himself and Riley just smiled a little at that thought again. He surely was proud of him. "I'm glad if I could help. Just tell me if you notice any other problems, maybe I can help again. I know how bothersome most of them can get." Pff, it was just BORING for Asif, whhyy weren't they doing anything? He wanted to go jumping again... "I'm really proud you still had the strength to fight them, too."

" I am used to fighting them, guess I kinda trained myself doing it all these years. " he grinned. Riley was one of the few people he did like having around. Because he understood. Then he rembered something. That text he sent to him before his first competition. Should he tell him how much that ment for him? May sound stupid. Well someone will find that stupid for sure but not him. " Also a big thanks for that text you sent me.. I ..did appreciate that. " He looked through Nightingale's ears. A little ashamed perhaps. One of his voices just laughed at him but it was very weak. " It went pretty btw.. Nightingale is quite a natural in dressage."

Riley couldn't help it but smile a little more. "Welcome. Thought anyone could use a little encouragement sometimes." He patted his son's back gently. "Heard 'bout it, congratz. You've got a lot of talent, son. Couldn't wish for a more perfect child, really." He paused a little, losing the subtle smile. "I really wish I could have been there for you earlier..."

" That's oke.. you probably didn't know I was there. " he dismounted Nightingale and smiled a little. " It really helped me out yes, got a little more confidence after reading that my dad was already proud of me eventhough I didn't even start yet." He did feel loved, at last. He was really glad Riley found him. " don't you think it's quite funny how we met? So many people on this planet.. and it's so big. And we met anyway. " Well luckely they did. His issues became worse each day and something bad might have happened if they didn't.

"Hm, well, not exactly but... I could have done more effort searching I guess...", Riley answered, getting off Asif's back who seemed to be disappointed that they obviously wouldn't go for another round. Soooo disappointed. Riley chuckled slightly, maybe even feeling a bit flattered? Of course he'd never show that pfff. "How could one not be proud. It takes a lot of courage to go out there and present oneself, you know", he said and patted Asif's neck. "It is indeed. Of all those people on earth you became my friend's new trainer." He smiled thinking about it. It was weird. But in a positive way? "I'm really lucky I got to meet you. And even luckier you can forgive me."

" indeed, I just wonder how mother is doing. " he sighed. He didn't see her since he was just a little kid. "I am going to take care of my lady. See you around. " He hugged him carefully and walked away with Nightingale to reward her.

"I fear... it'd be difficult to meet her again", Riley said, sounding rather sad about that. Not only the issue that she'd probably be watched over by Jack but also that... she'd never recognise her son - as she is most likely thinking he'd be about 5 years old currently. "Alright", he said, and - when he thought nobody was looking - placed a little fatherly kiss on his son's forehead. Because. Too many fatherly feels akdhfksf. "See you then."
