Description
In skies of ink and solitude,by the moon's pallid light,
I wander through my destiny
to seek the end of night...
For miles I walk through liquid blue,
through tears and celestial rain,
to reach the moon and breaking dawn,
to see you once again.
Ok, this is the rather overdue trade for =heartofwings , and it's sort of my interpretation of the legend of Hati and Skoll. This is part one, will add description later.

And thankyou, I felt like inky blue at the time ^^ And as for the ref, I sorta flicked around google images and looked at the shapes from several pics, the sketched my own version and did the fur 100% from imagination ^^

That is a really great way to do it, that way you don't end up copying a photograph exactly.
The wing positions are one of the best parts of this picture.

Copying from a photo might not be a bad thing, but it's not great either. :/ But I'm trying to fix that!

Oh, one thing I noticed just now... not that you should change it, but just keep this in mind for the future... I would paint the background darker behind his face to add more contrast there so that his face really stands out. The way it is now, his face gets a little lost in the background, and youβre your eyes are drawn toward his feet and tail were the most contrast is. Anyway, just a little thing to keep in mind when you paint your next masterpiece!
