You really get a better appreciation for Fable 2 after you've played the first game. When I played through it again after Fable 1, the 'old tomb' you explore in the beginning has a much stronger meaning. You know what that place used to be; you know what happened in those walls hundreds of years ago. Seeing it in a decayed state was very powerful, and I wanted to convey that.

I had originally planned a one-shot "comic" if you will that shows flashes between Sparrow's journey through the abandoned guild, and the Hero of Oakvale's quest there when Jack of Blades destroyed it.
I then realized I didn't have the time or patience for something like that, so I condensed that vision down to a single image: Sparrow crossing the bridge that leads to the Chamber of Fate in the abandoned Heroes' Guild. There is also a ghostly presence of the Hero of Oakvale and the past fire the Guild once endured.

I went crazy trying to find a suitable way and place to put the quote, but I went with something simple and off to the side so as not to take away too much attention from the image itself.
