Tesia's POV:

The girl was in her room, negotiating in vain with the sun that was slowly but gradually making her room brighter. First, she tried to put an arm over her eyes, without much success, then a bedsheet which gained her some reprieve from the light, but it reached a point that the stuffy sensation was a bit too much and then she went for the pillow on top of her head which was sort of successful, but not really that much. The girl was grumbling, she just wanted to spend even one more minute in this state between being awake and sleeping. Knowing that you will not be able to sleep more, but not having the energy to stand up and start your day.

Today was still the week break from the festivities of the Accords and she was enjoying the last little bit of freedom before her college life started. In a week's time she would start a rigorous routine of studying, eating, and sleeping for the foreseeable future and these last days where she spent them sleeping the mornings off would be rare to come. She would also be leaving her comfy home bed for a bed in the college dorms which she was looking forward to with some anticipation since it was proof that she was kind of a rite of passage into adulthood. It did not mean that she did not like her bedroom, but it was time to leave everything familiar and grow up. Becoming an adult is always about making new choices and exploring the unknown and this gave hope and fear in similar doses to the girl who was just trying to sleep the morning off.

Look at me having all these thoughts in the morning, I am acting like such an old lady already.

The girl thought when suddenly she heard her door creak open, some thuds, and a heavy weight falling on top of her which took all her breath away.

TE -SI-AAAAAAA Wake up, Wake Up, Wake Up!!!

"Maisey get off you brat"

"Nope, not until you wake up!"

Then she used all her strength and overpowered her thin 8-year-old sister, pinning her under her and tickling her where she knew the girl was the most sensitive.

No stop, stop, hahahahahahahahahaha. Tesia stoppppppppp" Maisey kept shouting while laughing.

"There you go, you will never beat your older sister and now I am fully awake and ready to tickle you until you learn your lesson"

Tesia continued like that for a couple more minutes until she thought her sister had enough. Tesia loved her sister, but she was starting to get too big to be jumping on top of her like she did a couple of years ago.

"I appreciate the wake-up call but you are getting too big to do that"

"Are you calling me fat?" Maisey said with an overly offended tone.

"Yes, you are totally fat, as fat as a pumpkin, now get off I need to take a shower since Maria is coming later today"

"Hmph I'll let you go with her for today but remember that tomorrow you promised to take me to the adventure park, okay"

"Fine, fine yeah tomorrow we will go to the park but tonight I am going with Maria and some friends to a party and I need to get ready"

With that Tesia looked at the disaster that her hair had become and went to take a shower so that she could begin her day.

Sheesh it definitely took me a long time this time to get back into Alizthea. I can't believe I have not written an Alizthea story since 12/17/23 and the last Tesia main focused arc was on done in 08/11/23. Time surely flies sheeesh, anyways like I mentioned in the previous post this arc will consist of a prologue and a main story.

Hope you enjoy the musings of my mind and that you fav and comment to let me know how I am doing.

You are getting this post earlier than normal because tomorrow I might be busy and I may want to post the prologue a bit faster to get to the main story. Hope you like this and take care.
