There is no third book. There are only two in the series: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park: The Lost World, both of which are written by Michael Crichton. The 3 movies were adapted from both books.

First, you need to access your Display Properties which can be done by either going to your Control Panel or right-clicking your desktop and selecting "Properties." From there, go to the Desktop tab and look for a button that says "Customize Desktop." Then it's only a matter of selecting the icon you want to change and clicking on the "Change Icon" button. (Remember, the picture you want to change the icon to has to be in ".ico" format or it won't allow you to use your picture as an icon. You can change a picture into an icon by using an icon-editing program.)

There is a LOT that's removed from the books when they made the movies. There's a lot more gory scenes in the books, plus there's a side to raptors that's described in the books that you don't see in the movies. If you are really curious as to what the original Jurassic Park story is like, read the first Jurassic Park book. (The second one has some disgusting stuff in it, but it gives you a back story pertaining to that laboratory scene in the third movie.)

Just to give you a word of warning, if you don't have a taste for science jargon, I don't recommend reading the books. Read only if you're prepared to go through a LOT of text. (If you do read, you've got the read the WHOLE book. The scientific parts has a LOT to do with the story.)

i've read the first one and i coudln't put it down.. and yes i agree the books are WAAAAY better than the movies, matter of fact i'm making a fan fiction of Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park.

LOL not too long for me for a comment Maybe I want to read it then. Just hope it has been translated to my local language o.o I'd hate to read through all hard-science descriptive wording book o.o
