Man, really wish I was. My problem is, I'm never satisfied with my current body of work (portfolio). Unfortunately this will now be the third year in a row in which I won't be attending. All the networking and learning aside, it's just an awesome environment and super inspiring. I'll get back there and hopefully sooner than later. You going for a day or two?

But, it would be super cool to meet up there one of these years.

No worries man. Yeah, it is a trek - and I wish they spread out their events throughout the year and possibly in different locales kind of like what Siggraph does. Everyone has already agreed they have outgrown that venue.

BTW, some of your more recent character pieces are pretty damn strong (the ones I'd been seeing on instagram since I spend much less time on DA). It always sounds like a crap cliche saying "hang in there" so I'll say this instead - if you make it CTN or some other event in the future, coffee and donuts will be had.

Yeah, I was even getting that cramped feeling even last time. Can't imagine how much worse it's already gotten.

But thanks a bunch for the compliments, Jesse! Perhaps I'm finding more of my "fingerprint" in the more recent works and hopefully moving em in the right direction. It's a lifetime pursuit, as you well-know.
