I love the use of color, kind of Bohemian when you take into account the random items strewn about the space. I think the pieces of paper tacked onto the chair behind her make the scene even more homely.

I like how the screens sort of frame the captain, but then the captain's gaze leads your eye back to the screens. I also like the stars out the window...And her cuddly friend!
