Rendered in 3DS6. Finished in Photoshop-- -- -- -- -- -- --
I had this neat render after playing around in 3DS but couldn't put my finger on exactly what to do with it. I tried lots of 2d shit on it, but it just didnt work so I went back to my first thoughts of it being really minimalistic. I think it works much better now and I really love the long tall aspect of it.

That's pretty neat... how do i save something i do in 3DSM to be transparent when i pass it to Photoshop? do you know?

I know nothing about 3 d programs of anything of that sort - but this reminds me of a portugese man of war which as you may know is nothing to be messed with. I wish I could comment more intelligently but as I said all I know is what I like and dont like - and I like this

Bravo on such a well-done image. Being a huge fan of minimalism, this piece appeals to me very nicely. The lighting has a wonderful effect and the colors are so nice and warm. This has so many uses on many levels but's great that you left it up to our imagination. I love that. Kudos on a fantastic image.

lol I'm sure this is a bit out of blue for you but I was wondering... what is 3DS6? What sort of... uhh... operations does it have?
The only progam I have ever used that involves 3D stuff and renders is Bryce5. However the freedom of shapes in this image seem like something that program could not create. So if it's not similar to that, then well I am just wondering what sort of program it is.
I have Photoshop CS and have learned to use it pretty well over playing with it for a couple years.
Would you suggest I try out 3DS6?

This is an awesome picture with a beautifully gentle, yet strong contrast of light and shadow play. The wavy lines seem to have some character. This is really cool
