Description
This is a another collaboration between myself and *abe123Abe and I have been working our tits off over the past week. This image is the partial results of our labour. Created as a concept preview for an idea we're working on, I've worked it up to a full release cos I needed something to practice some new skills on.
The face is something I am very proud of. I have never ever done this much detail or work on a figure before so this was quite a challenge for me. Created in Photoshop and tweaked to look like a painted piece rather than a CG scene, there are a lot of new things I'm trying out as anyone who knows my work will verify. LOL
The cityscape render and the ship where both rendered by Abe. The Planet, nebula, figure etc was my bit. It was assembled in Photoshop over a week.
This is version 4 or 5 (I lost count) there are around 5 more after that which we may submit later. I know Abe will be submitting one called 'Good vs Evil' based on the same theme sometime soon.

The detail is imaculent, wonderful choice of colors as well you two. I can't get past how well the background is done. The fuzzy colorizedness on the face was a wonderful choice as well I love it.

The man's face really reminds me of the CGI work in "The Lawnmower Man" - and of course the backdrop is just badass.
I'd love to get into the type of art you create... I'm damn sick of Bryce abstractions.

I've seen several versions of this actually, from Abe. I frustrates me that those people worked him so hard and so continuously so that he lost a lot fo sleep over it
Most of the versions I saw were acceptable for the purpose, and only needed a bit of touching up... The model is excellent... I wondered if you might have had a hand in that, but I couldn't be sure.
If those people get annoyed about this as a cover, then they can stick their book where the sun doesn't shine, because I know the effort that has gone into this.

Gorgeous. The one yellowed eye disturbs me a little, but still way gorgeous. You do make a good team, and yeah this is a little different from your usual stuff. I like it though.
