This is the secret drawing in my 2010 calendar. Some of you have seen it already in your calendar
I spent an incredible amount of time on the drawing. While it's only 12x16 inches it took me a very long time to create the sky and clothing especially. Main purpose with the drawing was to create the dreamy mood and yes - it's incredible unrealistic to sit in the middle of the moon but I guess you can always dream unreal.
I had a lot of fun drawing it. I used a pose from the same photoshoot as my Moon Angel from 2006; [link] of the lovely Lisajenstock. Reference: [link] (It's only a similar one, as the one I used isn't online anymore)
Made with graphite pencils 2B-4B.

It reminds me of a shoot I did with my photographer.

Moon Angel is one of my very favorites of yours so I love that you've done one sort of similar. I was looking at it trying to pick out my favorite parts before realizing it's all SO good. I love the foot, hand, her lips, the dress, always love the hair... Zindy, you never cease to amaze me.
