About Her
Homeworld: Kiffex
Personality: Nymira is the observing type. She finds that staying quiet and watching is the best way to learn things. If she doesn’t talk others will, and by watching she can learn a lot. Nymira's not afraid to speak up and inquire about things she doesn't yet understand. Though she listens and watches, she's still very inquisitive. Nymira in turn, pours herself into the things she doesn't understand in attempts to understand. She's a determined fighter, always pushing herself to do her best and more than her part.
Nymira by default, is also very patient. In her apprenticeship to Obi-Wan, patience wasn’t really something he had to teach her; instead he had to focus more on teaching her to make decisions with her mind and based on the scenarios around them instead of with her heart and what feels right. While he did have some success in this, Nymira still makes some of her decisions with her heart instead of head from time to time.
Backstory: Despite Kiffex being her homeworld, Nymira has never set foot on it. Her parents had moved to Coruscant before she was born. Her father worked as a speeder mechanic along side his oldest friend. Her mother worked as a waitress part time in Dex's Dinner. Nymira was brought to the temple when she was 3, by none other than Qui-Gon Jinn. Qui-Gon happen to stop by on one of the days Nymira was spending her day, tucked away in booth in a corner at the back of the dinner while her mom worked. Which wasn't often considering her mom always had someone watching her little girl on the days she worked for Dex. The day Qui-Go happen to stop in was one of the rare few it didn't work out and Nymira spent the day just 'hanging; out around the dinner. Her presence never really bothered Dex, as he grew quite fond of her quite fast, and was always happy to see her. Qui-Gon noticed her presence the moment he set foot inside the dinner that day. He felt her unique aura in the force, and his eyes watched her almost the whole time he was in there. He ended up taking her to the temple to train as a Jedi.
Nymira grew up learning and training in the ways of the force, surrounded by Temple and the Jedi within. She made several friends, studied and trained with them.
When she was thirteen, just shy of fourteen years of age, she was chosen as Padawan to Master Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Clone Wars. She fought by his side for the majority of the war, learning from him as they traveled to different worlds. She got to see the galaxy first hand and how the war effect all kinds. When Ahoska Tano walked away from the Jedi Order, her Master was concerned how it might affect her. Nymira never walked away from the Order nor did she turn to the Dark side. She stayed true to the Light side of the force, but the events that surrounded it did effect her, something that didn't go unnoticed by her Master. A few days after turning seventeen she passed her Jedi Trails and became a Jedi Knight. She was given only a handful of Clones and an BD type Droid to help on missions and in the fight against the Separatists.
Towards the end of the War Nymira found herself on Yerbana aiding her old Master in his attack. While Master Kenobi was on the ground, the newly appointed Jedi Knight was taking charge of the clones' air force in the sky in her own personal spacecraft. Her ship took a hit forcing her to the ground. As luck would have it, her ship was headed for Master Kenobi and his troops. She bailed from her ship before impact and joined Kenobi. While her spacecraft did explode into enemy forces, dealing a blow to their ranks it wasn’t big enough to make much of a difference. After the Separatists forces were defeated she was present when Masters Kenobi and Skywalker got the call from the Admiral requesting their presence. She told her old Master she would stay back and take care of the Clones, only to find out she too was to come along with them as well.
After reuniting with an old friend she heads to Mandalore to help with the situation there. While on their way back Order 66 is executed and the Clones under her command turn on her as well as the ones under Rex’s command.
With the world now upside down for her, Nymira goes into hiding on the planet Maridun for close to four years. She eventually comes out of hiding and attempts to make the Empire life as miserable as she can. In that time she takes up the Fulcrum symbol, and does what she can for that cause. A year later she runs into Saw Gerrera on Kashyyyk and fights along his side as he tries to liberate the Wookies from the Empire. While there she met a fellow Jedi survivor. It gives her a slight bit of comfort to know that there are still a few of them out there. Nine years later and Fulcrum sends her to planet Lothal. There she meets a band of Rebels, and per Fulcrum’s request helps them run a mission. Eventually Fulcrum’s identity is revealed to the crew and the fact that Nymira was not there by mistake. After that war against the Empire ends she joins her old friend in the search for a Jedi lost in action.
Likes:
- Room of a Thousand Fountains: A quiet place to clear her mind, think, or even study if needed. Nymira loved this place for its tranquility, and oftentimes you’d find her there. After being chosen as Master Kenobi’s padawan and as the Clone Wars went on she spent less and less time there.
- BD Droids: Nymira just loves these little guys. She likes their size much better than that of an R2 or R3 unit.
- Dex's Dinner: As per Jedi tradition and rules Nymira's mother has stayed out of her daughter's life since she was taken to the Temple. Nymira doesn't even know about her family or their current residents as she was too young to remember really anything about them. She visits the Dinner the because like her Master and his Master, she likes the Dinner and the owner.
Dislikes:
- Separatists/ Empire: It’s no surprise she doesn't like these guys. To her they are a constant thorn, one that just won’t go away. First it was the Separatists, then it was the Empire. She’ll be glad when both are no more.
- Chopper: While she does get along with the crew of the Ghost pretty well, Chopper was one she never clicked with. A lot of it had to do with his attitude. They get along okay, but neither consider the other a friend.
*more to be added hopefully*
Skills:
- Sneaking around: This girl is crazy good at sneaking around. If she wanted to, she could get away with a lot of things. Obi-Wan is a huge reason why she doesn’t. As her master, he often knows when she is trying to sneak about, and in turn it hardly ever works for her. This skill of hers has been put to a many uses in The Clone Wars and she herself has used it plenty after that war.
- Droid Repair: A helpful skill she learned in some of her spare time at the Temple. Nymira can fix almost any droid easily enough, some take a bit longer but she never given up on fixing a droid. Droids are cute in her opinion, and loves having one at her side. Eventually they're gonna break and there's something about fixing it with her own 2 hands than Nymira enjoys.
*More to be added hopefully*
Habits:
- Cross her arms, and hold her index finger to her lips when thinking: She picked this up from Master Kenobi. He’d always cross his arms and stroke his beard/chin while thinking or planning something. Being around him she adapted to this habit of his and made it hers as well. While he strokes his beard/chin, she touches her lips with a forefinger in some way or another.
- Holding one arm behind her back/placing a hand on her waist: This is something she did very early on, and quite frequently, in her apprenticeship to Obi-wan Kenobi in the start of the Clone Wars. As the war went on that habit slowly died out, and ended up being replaced by the habit of her placing a hand on her waist. That one never disappeared, as you’ll find her often standing with her hand on her waist.
Weapons:
Two lightsabers: Her weapons in the Clone Wars. One blue bladed saber and one yellow bladed. The blue bladed saber is her primary one. She used it primarily for half of the war. The yellow bladed saber formerly belonged to Master Vidar Mordav, who gave it to her upon his death.
Twin DC-17 blasters: After the Jedi Purge she didn’t use her lightsabers as much, to avoid painting a target on her back, and started using the blasters. As time went on she used her sabers more publicly, and started to balance the two weapons in her way of fighting.
Scars/Masks/Markings:
- A scar on her left upper arm: It was gained in the execution of Order 66 and as she attempted to survive it one of Rex’s clones shot at her. The first couple shots tore through her armor as she did her best to deflect the blaster fire from the clones. A shot managed to graze, scaring her upper left arm.
- Face Marking: Per Kiffar tradition, Nymira's face is marked with her Kiffar Tattoo. Hers is just under the right eye. Nymira's Tattoo matches that of her mother but not her fathers, as according to the Kiffar traditions and culture.
Other: Carries a messenger style bag with various equipment.
Relationships
Family: Alive. Names unknown
Lovers: None
Friends:
- Ahsoka Tano: She was friends with Ahsoka before they were chosen as Padawans in the Clone Wars. They’d met over a practice sparring match a couple days after Nymira had came back to the temple from her trip to Illum to find her Kyber Crystal. They were paired against each other. They talked afterwards, and their friendship grew from there. Neither expected to fight alongside each other in the Clone Wars. Ahsoka’s decision to leave the order didn’t affect their friendship, despite everything that had happened and what questions Nymira might have had afterwards. Their friendship lasted through the Jedi Purge and later Nymira took up the Fulcrum symbol and helped her friend where she could.
- The Bad Batch: How she met the group is still unclear, but you’ll find that as her time as a Jedi Knight in the Clone Wars, she entangles and asks for this group of Clones more often than other Jedi do. By far Hunter is the one she gets along best with. Hunter’s way of fighting and taking charge type of attitude is something she admires. She respects how he runs his ragtag team, and how each clone has their own way of getting things down with the set of skills they each possess.
- Cal Kestis: Nymira met him a year after she came out of hiding. They met on Kashyyyk while Saw Garrera was there to liberate the Wookiees. Nymira was part of the liberation and in doing so crossed paths with Cal and his droid; BD-1. Whom she had taken a liking to, as BD and her droid were similar models. Needless to say a friendship was formed between her and Cal, as they were both survivors of the Jedi Purge. They parted ways after Kashyyyk. They stayed in contact through holocalls, but their friendship didn’t amount to anything more.
- Spectre Crew: Nymira met the Ghost’s crew through Ahsoka. She tagged along with the crew, working alongside and with them as her friend did. Fighting as part of the rebellion in hopes for a future without the Empire. Nymira got along with the entire Spectre crew, each was a friend to her, though Chopper didn’t quite make that list, as they each had issues with the other. She never left the Rebels after what happened on Malachor. Nymira fought by their side until she went into the “World Between Worlds” with Ezra. Due to circumstance she and her droid didn’t return with Ezra, nor her oldest friend. Instead she was forced to jump through a different portal than the rest. Later she rejoined Ahsoka and returned to Lothal to get Sabine, to fulfill the promise that was made to Ezra, to find him.
- Josren Ifol: Nymira remembers hearing about Josren's arrival to the Jedi Order. She never got to properly meet the girl before she was sent to Master Kenobi's side as his Padawan. Only when both girls took up a second saber did they get a proper introduction while training to use Jar'kai. Josren chose Nymira to be her training partner. She never complained as Nymira did get to befriend and learn about the girl. Nymira and Josren often see each other around the Temple, most often at the Jedi Archives as it's a common place the two Apprentices both like. Josren didn't grow up within the Order like Nymira did, as such both girls would question one another and share their views on the Jedi Order. While Josren pointed out how hypocritical they were, Nymira defended the Order. The debates never ruined their friendship, each wanted to try and understand the other and see from their point of view. Josren had the most impact as Nymira's own views started to shift. Between Jorsen's questions Barris's attack on the Temple and Ahoska walking away, Nymira's views aren't the same as they were in the beginning of the war.
- Vikar Rau: Nymira accompanied her Master to Mandalore in S2 E12. Upon steeping of the ship Nymira marveled at the Mandalorian city, already observing it all even though it was just the landing platforms. Working at loading a near by ship was a young Mandalorian. As she pausing in following after her Master to watch. The young Mandalorian stopped his work and looked over at her, giving her a wave in greeting. There was no time for a proper introduction as her Master urged her to not keep the Duchess waiting. Years later they got their proper introduction when the Siege of Mandolore happened. He found himself by Nymira's side during the siege, and stayed by her majority of the time, ready for her command. They got separated during all the fighting and didn't see each other again till she and Ahsoka left with Maul in their custody. Before they departed Mandalore, Vikar offered his assistance to Nymira if she'd ever needed it, all she'd have to do it reach out to him. A gesture and offer that she thought often of in the years and events that quickly that day.
- Neela Shifter: When Ziro the hutt escaped prison, Obi-wan and Nymira met up with Quinlan Vos to go after the hutt. Nymira ended up meeting Vos’s padawan learner; Neela Shifter. Neela is a perfect fit to be his padawan as she shares some of his recklessness and impulsiveness attributes, because of this the friendship between the two of them is similar to that of their masters. The two girls get along a little better than their masters do, but they don’t always see eye to eye. However, the young girl did grow on Nymira more so than Quinlan Vos did for her.

Jedi Information
Force Alignment: Light

Lightsaber fighting style:
- Form III or Soresu: While Nymira had one saber she preferred Form III because of its strong defensive technique and small, fluid movements. Form III can potentially outlast an opponent, waiting until they begin tire and make mistakes due to frustration or fatigue. This form best fits her because of her ability to observe, wait and remain patient.
- Jar'kai: When Nymira took up her second saber she started learning Jar'kai, and now has blended and made the two forms into her own fighting style.
Number of Lightsabers: 2
Blade Color(s): Blue (primary) and Yellow (off hand)
Preferred way of holding: Nymira often prefers to hold her blue saber forwards and the yellow saber held in reverse-grip. However, there are times when you’ll see her holding them both forwards. She rarely, if ever, holds them both backwards.
Droid:
BD- : BD- "Scout" was presented to her after her passing of the Jedi Trials. She gave him the name Scout. The droid is fiercely loyal to her, even and helped her survive Order 66. The purge scuffed and banged him up, but it was nothing Nymira couldn't repair. Scout has stayed by her side ever since he was assigned to her, and she trust the little droid more than can be expressed.
