Solstice is an..interesting case. She doesn't know much about her past, she just knows Twilight is her birth mom, and zecora is her MOM mom. Aside from that? She's in the dark, but she doesn't care in the slightest.
She's never been one to ask questions, she doesn't feel abandoned, or like she needs answers, she's got her mom and that's enough for her.
Solstice Spark lives in the everfree forest with zecora in their now-expanded tree home, assisting anypony that seeks out their help. Solstice spent her entire life since she was practically a newborn in the everfree forest, it's more home to her than any town or city and she likes to keep it that way. Something incredibly special about her is that poison joke seems to have no affect on her, she actually keeps it in her hair to deter wild animals from bothering her while she's out collecting herbs, something zecora is still trying to figure out the cause of.

But those are just glorified bullet points.

Solstice was born from twilight's relationship with Flash sentry, more about that can be read in Comet Splice's bio, why not here? Well the character herself isn't very aware of the situation either. Zecora me we kept is a secret from solstice that Twilight was her birth mom, and contrary to the way a lot of ponies react Solstice never really seemed to care. It may very well be due to her extremely relaxed personality, but Solstice never felt abandoned or like she had to seek out whatever "truth" there was behind her birth family. Considering her and Zecora's relationship has always been strong and very healthy, she's never felt like there was anything missing in her life even if the only pony she ever really got to interact with was Aloe Blossom when she would pick up potions for her job. Very pretty pony..that one. Solstice doesn't really ever leave the forest, and when she does it's usually between towns rather than ever actually entering them, she lets zecora do that part. Whenever she's in public she tends to have on a pretty worn looking cloak, to both conceal her identity and express to strangers that she's not very chatty. Despite this Solstice spark is actually very friendly, even if she prefers to avoid social situations if confronted she has a very chill and kind demeanor. Though she does subconsciously break into rhyme occasionally .
Something very important in solstice's life is not allowed to go to canterlot, not that she really cares it's much too upper class for her anyway, she's never bothered asking why. But zecora knows it's because both flash and twilights parents live there, and any of them finding out that solstice existed would raise utter hell. Sure Solstice knew Twilight, she even greeted her casually if they crossed paths, but anyone else knowing would just create chaos and panic among the masses. Solstice spark has no interest in becoming ruler of friendship or an Alicorn princess or whatever, and zecora wanted to make sure that was never forced on her. ever.
But how long can a secret really be kept?
