I one-nighted this on a whim, so excuse the messiness. Let's just say I was going for a "impressionistic" style of sort, which I sometimes like to experiment with out of laziness, or a liking for rough edges. (Like with .) I hope it works to some extent, heh ...

So like. You know that feeling when you get hit with music so heartwrenchingly in tune with your soul that you want to cry and dance for joy? Yeah. That happened this morning. THANK YOU TRES. 3am in the morning and you just HAD to link me perhaps the most awesome Aya theme I've heard to date, didn't you? <3<3

And yeah. Not that I need any excuse to draw Aya, but oh well. ;3 I had a go at haiku-ing again, might dip into them more often.

The poem reads:

Aki musume
Hitori de mihari
Kaze ni nari.

"Autumn's daughter
Alone, keeping guard,
Becoming the wind."

The verse was inspired by the song that inspired this picture. Particularly the chorus line, "Kaze ni naru", which in hindsight could also mean "a voice in the wind" rather than becoming the wind. But I kinda like the idea of Shameimaru-san turning into something as fleeting swift and eternal as the wind itself. Don't you?
