(For the purposes of this description, the one on the left will be referred to as Forte and the one on the right as Bass xD And also, I apologize now for how tl;dr I get xD;; )

While listening to the latest Avenged Sevenfold (surprise, surprise) CD the other day, I was struck with how much Critical Acclaim was a Bass song. Okay sure, maybe he wouldn't be singing about America per se, like it is in the song, but he'd definitely be all over the "decline of humanity" tone to it.

Problem was, I couldn't decide if it better fit Classic version or EXE version. So... XD I just put both of them in. Forte is the one filling the role of "lead singer" in the song, while Bass is the other one. Finding myself with a bit of an empty background, I decided to put in lyrics (although I'd already decided to put in the "speech" parts behind Forte). Granted there's a little discrepancy between the lyrics I just linked and the lyrics I just used, but I took mine (mostly) from the CD booklet itself, so I assume they're right xD I'm sorry if I got a couple wrong, though.

Those who are close to me and talk to me often will know that this pic just about KILLED me. I've been working on it now for 2-3 days, at the expense of other drawings. And I am honestly very, VERY glad to get it out of the way XD;; It may not look it, but this one was a LOT more intensive than many of my other drawings, partially because Bass's position was annoying to make look right (there were a couple others tried before this). The coloring is a little off against some lines, and I cheated so hard on the shading of Bass's cloak and the ground (Gaussian Blur 8D;;; ) but at least my blood, sweat, and tears paid off, because it looks badass as ALL get out.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm just going to go pass out for a while...

Oh! There's a sliiiightly bigger version of this pic at 1400 x 1050, but I like the smaller one better. If you want to see the bigger one for whatever reason though, here it is . As for why Bass is missing his helmet... It's a pain in the ass, even moreso than Forte's. Besides, that's technically my version of Forte too, you just can't see the hairstyle I normally give him XD

And one more thing: The font I used for Bass's text (Nail Scratch) doesn't come with commas or apostrophes, and I couldn't get a replacement to look right, so excuse the lack of those. Finally, the line "Like me motherfucker" should probably have an extra comma because Forte is the "somebody" being pissed off (or at least that's what I think, for the song) but I'm too lazy to go back and add one stinking comma.
