Prize art for for *pink-gizzy 's birthday contest.

The texture is still kinda rough but I guess it's the natural strokes of the pencil lead on the paper.

Sorry for the image quality, it's night here so the texture is kinda rough. I'm just excited to submit this today but I'll probably take another picture tomorrow (at day) for a better quality.

Done with Faber Castell Classic coloured pencils and Colleen coloured pencils. Brightness and Contrast touched with Adobe PS CS4.

She looks great! The pose is perfect. I was going to ask if you used a reference of a Princess Mononoke image, but then I saw it was inspired by stock images. Wow. And I love the colors! (I admit it, I have a soft spot for colored pencils)

Thank you! I've already thought of that pose but I still looked for a stock image so I could get the anatomy right, and I found one from Senshi, although I've changed the position of the arms, it's still highly inspired by her stocks. ^^

I'm glad that you liked it, I was kinda worried you there.

I swear I'm gonna upload a better image.

Oh, and no problem, I really enjoyed drawing her. I might actually color this digitally someday, when I'm in the mood. Oh, the concept sketch will be uploaded next.

Well, the whole pose is great, included the arms. I specially like the arm that's holding the dagger. It really looks like its bent at the elbow, not just 'shortened' like sometimes happens with drawings.

I was not worried at all, I'd seen your other things! ^^

I've been practicing that 'bent joints', they're kinda a problem back then. I'm glad it looks fine now.
