A scene with the main characters of one of my favorite games of all time: The Last Of Us. Figures were posed in Daz Studio and XNALara. Scene was made and rendered in Vue. Postwork in Photoshop and Photomatix.Credits to the artists who made these wonderful models:

It's a (zombie) survival game. But the relationship between the main characters is so well written that it is a real emotional roller coaster. So it's much more than a 'shoot the zombies' experience Β

Amazing scene and characters! If you don't mind me asking how did you reposition the characters and what did you render in? Love it!

I posed the characters in XNALara. These models are only made for that program. After the posing you can export them as obj-files to import them in other programs for rendering. XNALara is a free posing program. Works not as smooth as Daz or Poser, but it does the job. So after the posing I made the scene in Vue and did the render there.

Love the background building. Somehow it reminded me of the DuWo office in Delft. It's also such an old building, with some traces of decay and time.Β
And the face expression of the girl is very speaking. Also the dirt (blood?) on her face makes the scene more realistic.

You can try Google Street view to see how it looks like, it's the most closest building to the bridge. If you want I can also post some picture of it. I think I went there once for a long photoshoot. It's a very beautiful building.

Yeah, when I'm in the neighbourhood I will certainly take a look. From where I live it's about 1 hour and 40 minutes by car. So...it's not that far.
