/ she hardly needed confirmation. Suddenly whatever she had thought in her first week of undeath-- that he could be saved, returned. Suddenly a small glimmer of hope appeared, despite her doubts. Maybe he was tricking her? Was this what he meant by breaking her?
/ As he spoke, she was confused. Really, though. Even if it was some sort of trick, she had nothing to lose. She furrowed her brows and warily watched him.
