well when i scanned the image, i relined it with photoshop with a small brush then i somehow added white background to the background and lockedd tyhe layers so i could color inthe horse, this usually doesnt happen but i guess the lines doubled on each other making them bigger but idk why it did that, it did that when i colored the background white but i neeeded to do that so i could fill in the image without going outside the lines

Oh uuuh crud. That's something I haven't been able to find an easy fix to aside from just redoing the lines on another layer and starting over from there. Try not to do lines on any layer that has a background in the future ^^ it tends to create problems like that and sadly with brushes it's really hard to fix that. Someone else might have an easier way to do it but that's what I used to do to fix that stuff.

Which program do you do your pixel art on, if you don't mind me asking?

Right now I use Photoshop CS5, but I used to use MSPaint and it works just fine for spriting =3 There's also things like GraphicsGale, GIMP, and Paint.net if you want something a little more high powered than MSPaint.
The only reason I switched from MSPaint is because of my computer choice. It's not a program for Macs so I had to stick to Photoshop for spriting.
