# About me
Nicholas Shaw lives in Sydney with his girlfriend of 5 years, and their Standard Schnauzer, Archer.In his free time he likes to write and letter comics. Nic is currently writer/editor/journalist/mail room guy for shawlettering.com; One of wordpress.com's quickest growing comic blogs (it's views are now reaching the heights of the creators mother).
Before working in comic retail and creating Shaw Lettering, Nic spent a long time job hopping, trying to discover which career path was best for him. Stripping, being a clown, and doing both at the same time didn't work out.
Currently Mr. Shaw is working on a comic with Luke Parker of futureparker.com (future-parker.deviantart.com/ ). It will probably be the best thing you will ever read. Ever.
He's also trying to letter comics. He tries his best. Good lad. So if you want your webcomic, or new independent book lettered Hey, he might just be your guy, give him a call why not?

No, Hammer hasn't been picked up by a publisher yet.
But we're hoping to have it out sometime this year - hopefully through someone like Dark Horse, Image, or IDW.
Luke's work is very Mignola inspired, but he does have some quirks of his own, and I think he stands out!
