Ooh, that sounds nice!

It’s been a series of ups and downs. Went to hospital twice in one week for different reasons, though was not admitted both times. I’ve found a GP who’ll actually listen to me for once, she’s already considering everything we should examine just by going through my symptoms list, even gave me a full blood test, getting the results Wednesday. Depression’s been hitting hard, am seeing a psychiatrist on Thursday about that and to see where to go from there.

That is SO WONDERFUL that you found a GP who actually listens to you and is very thorough. Oh, I hope all is well! What did the results say?

Argh, I'm truly sorry about your depression. :( (Sad) I hope your psychiatrist is actually a compassionate person who will help you.

Thanks so much! It's been a nice, quiet birthday. Got a new stereo, which I can't wait for Dad to set up, and a gift card for the cinema! Going out to eat with the family tonight at my favorite burger restaurant Red Robins!

Emotionally, up and down. I keep praying. I've been going to the gym to strengthen my legs, and I continue to go to the pool to practice walking and balance.

I've had a couple of interviews already, and while I feel I did okay on them, it doesn't look like I did well enough to get the job.

Yeah, that's how I try to look at it. Since I suffer from poor self-esteem, it's not always easy though.

I do qualify for a Food Handler's Permit, so that will make people look at me a little more intently. You'd look twice at someone with a Bachelor's degree, a Food Handler's Permit, and who is cashier-certified, wouldn't you?
