# About me
Hello, I am Felix! ^_^ I grew up with a folk/rock singing father that also painted and a mother that loved art, but they used their influence against any desire I had to go to an art school, no matter how much I wanted to, deeming arts as nothing more than a hobby. So I have no studies on the matter other than what I have learned along the way.After military service, I went to the Literature Romanian-French section of the West University of Timișoara, away from the home city, in which I could pay the rent and the studies by working mostly as a graphic designer for various companies, small or big.
I have kept little to no portfolio, few of the thousand designs I made I considered being worthy as art, which was really bad, because every time I needed to get a new designer job, I had to look up the poor portfolio CDs/DVDs that were more artistical in nature than the industrial most firms ask here. I traded art for fast and efficient. What happened besides this was a constant quest for improvement in writing poetry, prose, drawing and photomanipulating images, as well as composing music for a 9 people Symphonic Black Metal band and being a vocal. I would get inspired and work or stay in class while creating, knowing that no idea will ever be the same if you let it fly. Also tried photography, but I was never into buying professional equipment, like dad, who had a Yashica that, strangely enough, I still remember how to use.
So, here I am: at the balance between usefulness and art, a creative mind trapped on a "practical" path, creating only when I have spare time.
I hope you enjoy the work I upload and please, criticise for I am not perfect and some drawings might be a little out of proportion in some parts! Thank you and have a creative day! ^_^
