thanks... i got a lot more, which i havent yet got the chance of photographing them... my holiday is quite dull, so i spent time drawing as a productive way to kill time

and you should get out your pencil and pen and draw ;) (Wink)

David - I really hope you scan your latest set of drawings in when you return to Australia.... the photographs with the table surface in the background, and the spiral of the book etc really don't do the images justice.... they kind of take away the attention from the main image.

Anyway, hope you're having a good time... and that your HSC results were to your liking :-) (Smile)

haha, na, I don't have a scanner in Australia neither... I kept the spiral of the book and the table as the background because, simply, I didn't bother to take them out... as you could see, I took those photos with my phone camera, which is nevertheless good enough... and what I do usually is digitally trim the unwanted bits out... and in hk, I just couldn't be bother... mainly because I don't have photoshop here and I can't be bother learning how to do trimming with some random freeware image editor

but, since you have requested, I will do the trimming, eventually :) (Smile)

Yes. Close to the Edge--you like a lot of prog rock. ps I have that album, and a bunch of the early Genesis, my exboyfriend was a prog rock guitar player. (I checked out your blog)

What are you doing in HK? And what is ArtExpress?

nice, your boyfriend must be pretty charismatic when he lets him electric guitar soar...

i am pretty relax here in HK... it's where i was born, so i feel comfortable... yeh, it's hard to explain

anyway, artexpress is like a all school art exhibition for the works by final year high school students... your works get exhibited if you are lucky enough to be selected

This doesen't compare to being born in a place, but I'm half Irish and when I stayed in Ireland, I felt it was home. Irish people were always stopping me on the street asking me for directions, they thought I was one of them, but when I talked they thought I was Canadian ! HK must be so exciting.

He's very charismatic, my ex-boyfriend, and a sweetheart of course. He and I are going to start collaborating. He's going to compose music while I paint...and eventually we are going to make animations together of his music and my collages.

Have you heard if your work has been accepted into ArtExpress yet? They're absolutely crazy if they turn it away. Your welcome for checking out your gallery. I'm so tempted to favorite all of your work ! You are a fabulous painter. Sometime in the future when we are both further along in art careers we should have a show together ! Maybe that is crazy, but I do like your work that much. Sometime when I have money to have shows outside of my home state.
