Babe,
Sometimes when it's 3 AM and I'm on my couch curled up with an empty bottle in the dark except for my laptops glow, you pop into my mind. You and those nights we'd stay up talking or watching movies and I think about how I miss those. How I miss you. If you'd get online, I would probably take about three of my adderall so I could stay up with you.
Whenever it's raining out, I sometimes go outside and look at the sky to watch it move. I think about our movie. (Me: "When you get sad it always seems to rain." You: "Lots of people get sad when it rains!" Me: "It rains because you're sad,Β baby.") It seems to be raining an awful lot lately, but that's only here so I hope the sun is shining where you are.
The other day I texted you, and then again that night. You didn't answer, but that's okay. I text at odd times because I think about you almost all the time and those odd times are when I lack self-restraint. Β
Yesterday, I looked in the mirror and immediately regretted it. I thought how you hate seeing yourself in mirrors too. Then I noticed how swollen and bruised my eye was and I couldn't figure out way. Maybe there's something poetic there. Maybe not, but I've sunken to checking out my reflection in hopes it will change. That makes me an optimist I think.Β
I'm hoping it doesn't hurt to remind you I love you. I'm hoping it does well to remind you, you can talk to me. If you're lonely you can talk to me.
