I've never understood the determination some "fans" have to make the Pokemon setting dark and depressing with all their grimdark theories. For me, the one and only fan theory that I put *any* stock in is the idea that everything written in the Pokedex is total nonsense, because Pokedex entries are written by the ten-year-old children who first catch those Pokemon. n_n

LOL, I never cared about that Raticate he had. At that time he was an annoying trainer for me, regardless of his choice of PokΓ©mon. It wasn't until last year, when I watched one of those PokΓ©mon "Conspiracy" videos on YouTube.

Cause I did something to my game and then I played as my rival and I couldn't access the box. And the game told Raticate perished.

You can't play as your rival even with rom hacking. And a message specifically saying that 'Raticate perished' can only happen if you add it to the script yourself (through hacking). Surely, you must be trying to troll me.

Pretty much.Β For most competitive players, a Raticate would at best be a place holder until you got your hands on something more potent.Β Such as, I don't know, the Gyarados/Exeggcute/Growlithe Blue's seen with in the next battle with him (never associate Blue with Mr. Nasal-Speaking Gary).Β After all, weren't those three considered the strongest of their types outside of starters and Legendaries in Gen 1?

i got a lvl 100 Aegislash, Lucario, Scizor and Staraptor; the rest of my pokemon r lvl 50+, and i got almost all the legendaries (outside some event ones)...i still got my Raticate but, as youd guess, i barely use him
