I often get asked how fast they go though turn 5 at Mosport, er, I meant Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. I've never actually measured them myself, but how fast do you need to go to get that much of the two right side tires off of the ground?Mmmm... power!

Not a bad guess; I've been told that the GT class cars are doing about 90 to 100 MPH between 5a and 5b, so 185 km/h is right about there.

The GT1s max out at about 190MPH on the straights, but they don't have the downforce to corner at those speeds
