Description Badb Catha, or Battle Crow, is the Celtic War Goddess who is part of the Morrigan trilogy. Badb is often portrayed as a crow or surrounded by her sacred animal. Battle fields were called the land of Badb. She was crucial in the Tuatha de Dannan battle against the Formorians for Ireland. In the last battle at Mag Tuired she gave the following prophecy:
Summer without flowers,
kine without milk,
women without modesty,
men without valour;
captives without a king,
woods without mast,
sea without produce
