When I was in middle school my teacher had this thing where we would have a sort of pen pal from a different classroom that she taught in so that she could deliver them. I don't know about the other classmates but she chose my pen pal who was a guy named Trevor. Every time she gave me a note, or delivered one for me she had the biggest smile on her face.... Eventually he stopped writing responses and I swear I don't think that I had ever seen her look more hurt. she didn't really give this reaction from the other students. I had just thought that she was sad for me but now I convinced that her ship had just sunk.
