Description Melek T'aus (a middle-eastern people's god, the Yezidi). the Peacock Angel, split the limitless light into the colour spectrum, the beautiful forms and patterns of this manifest world. The penultimate being, redeemer and redeemed, bathing the world with truth, knowledge, wisdom, and magick. The form of Melek T'aus presented here is in the cosmic pearlesque egg, prior to unfurling our collective consciousness into omniscient magnificence (magnified sense).

24x36 acrylic

The angel sinned light.
First and prime spark
tapping out a binary
against the null-egg
of zero-god.
Lucifer broke the invariant
and fell into existence,
from chaos into order,
with the weight of all matter
on his wings.
Photons are his children;
each an infinitesmal death-into-light,
unfurling the omniverse
along the blinding curve
of his wings.

I'm self-publishing a collection of poems. I'm looking for some cover-art, but can't offer any money. Only credit on the book itself for your image. Are you interested?

The Peacock Angel is not god for us Yezidis. He is 'only' an angel

What does the seven-pointed star stand for? Because I know that the group Tool uses that, but I'm not entirely sure what it really stand for, even though I have some ideas.

the star is called "first heptagram" and has different meanings in different cultures. you can find it in the jewish kabbalah or even in the christian religion.
one meaning is "godlike perfection". i think that fits best with the painting.

Ah..I see, thank you very much for telling me. I'd seen it in so many other places, and it makes me happy to know that it also fits in my drawing, because I used it also. Thanks again.

Wow! I'm amazed. You said you work intuitionally when painting right? I do the same! Wow! I would be honored to watch you and learn from you! I always wanted to do spiritual artworks, but they failed...

Amazing! Incredible spiritual! I can feel that you're very talented intuitionally with colors. You have the ability to show the beauty from beyond. I'm truly amazed!

I couldn't help coming back to this again, cuz I love it so much.
If I go to his eyes, I really feel like he is in the midst of birthing.
So subtle, and stark.
Now, the 24x36 is really mind-boggling, when you think of anybody else attempting this probably needing maybe even a wall.
Wow!

I don't trust smurfs. None of you can make me trust those lil' boogers... they're so... blue.

I like how he's holding apple(?) halves. I don't understand their significance, but I like that they are there. In all reality, this is probably my favorite work of yours. It's so colorful and full of symbolism.
