Alright, finally finished the Dragoness picture.. ^^* This.. took a while. No more than 5 hours though .. =x And um.. Yeah. As requested by *Kermon .. 33 layers are involved..
Well.. that are visible anyhow. I've got at least 40 or so.. ^^*Anyhow.. Here's a view of some shapes and colours of the Dragoness race. (This is from my own storyline, mind you. So I'm not following any "traditional" mythology or whatnot. Everything I do is from my own idea of certain things.. I completely made this entire race up without any knowlege of previous mythology.. All the ideas are my own. =x But anyhow.. Here goes. x___x Hope you enjoy. I'm finally done.

Yeah.. I love that one. She's.. so happy. I did give somewhat of a storyline to them as I drew them.. Which is what gives them soul, to me. It's the only way I can actually draw an expression on their faces and have it mean something. That one.. I made her theme about love and joy and freedom. She's.. free to be with the one she loves.. Just got the news from the Dragoness Council that their marriage is finally approved.
After a hard battle, and she's looking to the sky for the first time in a long time.
Flying as high as she can go and feeling that undeniable rush of happiness at the idea of being in his arms. =x
*smile* I have a lot more characters. These were just generic character models.. ^^ Maybe I'll post some pictures and give a little bit of storyline so you can see what I've already created.. ^^

I like to make storylines as i draw too.
However i simply write it out and it sounds sooo real, people start asking if it's an anime or somthing...

.. Yeah, I was waiting for someone to comment about the background before I went and did it.. Tedious work, I tell you! *laugh* I'll do my best. Taking a break from this pic first.. Then going back to it. ^^

Oooh.. A shattered background would be a bit hard. I mean.. I'd have to make it symmetrical in order for it to not look too disjointed.. I think I'll make a real background. Like.. one that they all share. I'll have to be careful of opacity and like.. oh god, everything.. It'll take a long time to accomplish, but if it'll contribute to a complete piece, I may as well. ^^Will do. And thanks.

Imagine, you do that color stuff, which would last maximum 30 mins, and you go and mix the borders, hmm like on a scale you know?

Hm.. It might work, come to think of it.. I'll see though. I'm running thin on colours that would match them all but not clash. XD Probably should do a stained glass like.. 30% opacity type of thing.. Hmm..
