Spec, what the heck are you doing making a manip for a character of yours that has been inactive for 2 years? OH WAIT GUYS, Avatrai [link] is back now! The Secret is still my main focus, but I'm bringing back a few of my old characters on the old site. Stradivarius, Vesanta and Damascus made the cut. Strad is my current favourite of that string, he's trying so hard to pull himself together after the drought and the fire. He saved his younger brother Ortel by smashing his way out of the burning forest. Even so, he's a bit of a coward when not in dire straits. Okay, so Avatrai is dead again. I miss my cowardly hero, so I brought him over to The Secret so I can keep him active.

Take a look at that awesome grassy shadow. Is that some masking win or what? Please ignore the hair semifail, I got a lot of comments about my hair being too uniform and in struggling (I redrew the thing at least three times) to make the mane and tail less uniform it turned out a bit choppy. Not bad, but not what I wanted either.

He doesn't look like much of a TB in this I guess, mostly because I doctored up a QH for this image. I just loved the facial expression, it has a kind of reluctant determination to it, which suits Strad so well.

I love encouragement and suggestions for improvement, and I respond to all comments. ^.^
