This piece feels a bit lacking. If this was your intention, to create a feeling of just not being enough, then you nailed it. If it wasn't, then perhaps it needs something more. I love the complimentary scheme in which you mainly stick to a monochrome look. The blue makes it feel cold, or dead, possibly morose, but yet those little flecks of orange along the back make it seem as though the fire of this person's soul hasn't gone completely out just yet; there's still hope.
The arm could use some definition as the drip lines behind it rather confuse the body form, and the right eye appears a bit lazy compared to the left. The entire left part of the face is exquisitely rendered, you can even see the subject has a slight cleft chin and freckles.

I absolutely adore this. I agree with defining the arm a touch more--the puddling dark at the edge throws off the form to me. The face is amazing.

Awesome contrast with the complementary colors. I didn't know that you could get this detailed with watercolor. It is a really nice balance between realistic and expressive. Everything works together and flows really nicely.

hu hu - lovely work, lovely. As far as a critique goes,... just keep going...maybe I'll find flaw's in the next one....but until then, this is utterly sublime. Colour, pose, use of paint...everything comes out of her eye's. Beauty in beautiful and then something more. Love this as a piece of art work.

Beautiful piece! what makes this one interesting in comparison to your other work is that the model herself isn't as ''beautiful'' as your other ones? Usually the people you paint have perfect proportions that I really envy, but this girl is a bit more realistic though, with her chubbier cheeks, bigger nose and her more sunken eyes. It's like you're trying to keep your usual style, but changing the concept behind your usual work from trying to express a sort of beauty to trying to express something that more people can relate to.
So yes, wonderful piece! Can't wait to see your next post! <3
