It's a contest by that group where the theme was to design a uniform, I used the chance for two things;
1- train on fashion designs
2- overcome my phobia of making new OC's
Yes, this is a new oc of mine, Mayu
she's a summoner, using forces she employed to herself to help her accomplish certain tasks or simply defend her, known as Shiki in Japanese
I'm still developing her, though I'm happy with how she came out, her outfit at least, I made a lot of researches over Gothic Lolita style of dressing, I always wanted to try and draw one of these, and it was really fun ^^ though tiring as hell x.x took me exactly 21 hours of work, probably the longest thing I ever worked on
My first character with long hair o-o it feels weird.. but since all of my female OC's have short hair; I thought a change would be good ''83

And I had to throw Red somewhere in it xD
I'm doubting between Mayu and Mio, which name you guys think fits her best?

I've been wanting to draw a KanaYuuki for a while now... but I get scared every time I think of it xD
it's like, either they'd turn out looking good; or looking horrible XwX there's no in-between when it comes to VK characters

Yuuki on her own is ok, she has a lot from Miko so thinking of a pose for her is quite easy, but Kaname.... he's too complicated for my small brain e-e'' every time I try to think of a pose for him; he'd be just, standing like that e.e looking at me with his "don't be deceived by my gentle look" thingy eue.... *hides behind you*

EPICNESS on the design Woman *A*~<33 this is just love <3 I've always wanted to draw a gothic lolita dress too!! they just look gorgeous, and you did it beautifully, i love how many details it has *w* I love your style in clothes!! and the red thingies in her hair really make the dress pop somehow, and Awesome choice of background too *w* when i first saw it i fell in love, it suites the character so well!!
and in my opinion, she doesn't really look that much like miko, but that's just me.. I mean ofcourse she has white hair and blue eyes like miko, but her overall expression is just not miko-y at all, I can feel in her expression that she's a totally different person, you could however try to change her appearance a little, i mean you can make her eye a different shade of blue if you love blue eyes so much, i mean it could be a much darker/lighter blue, OR it could be Gray! and you could try to make her skin look very pale, since gothic lolitas usually are? just don't change the hair, it looks gorgeous the way it is

btw did you change her eyes? other than the color?? IT looks different somehow!! And the new hair color looks good on her owo~<3 but i think it needs some stronger/darker colors in shading or highlighting to make it pop more, but now it really doesn't look like miko at all 8DD
and girl, you PWNED that dress x'D AND WHEN YOU PWN SOMETHING you shouldn't say it's the last time you'll work on it x'D *slaps* even if you don't pwn something, you should work on it until you do, which you will eventually >w<

I can see where your phobia of new OC's come from: variety.... try to be bolder, make someone totally different from the rest. (she looks like Miko, Noel and raiden)
if you look at the gothic girl you drew, she's completely different, right? try to aim for that.
the outfit is very cool, though maybe you should have either made her tail black, white or grey, or you should add more red in her outfit.

The Gothic girl was from a time when I was around 9-10 years.. my preferences and likings changed a lot since then

well, darling, if you don't do it, you won't learn either. try to draw an Oc with another side of you. for example, if miko is your happy side, try to draw someone with your in love, angry or sad side =< different feelings give different characters.

try to check magazines or other characters and collect little bits at the time. like 'that person's hair', 'that person's eyes', 'that person's figure', etc. being absolutely original is practically impossible, but combinations are infinite.
