A brilliantly accomplished work of art, this is! Animarta said it best..the way everything comes together so flawlessly is awe-inspiring. I love the wet look, the slimy feel ...so much realism in something so...strange. Love it!

This is a fantastically weird concept! You have unified the elements so well that it is impossible for me to see this as anything other than the intended whole - I can feel the sliminess and even smell this thing as I look at the picture. Wonderful example of accomplished photomanipulation.

Thank you so much Clive, and sorry for the time to respond to your comment. I have not been that active these last couple of months and in consequence my message box is overflowing and I got behind with everyone here.
The response we get on this site is amazing, but a break once in a while is more than necessary. My life was almost reduced to deviantart, manips and some uninteresting gigs with my band. Now, among other things, I'm dedicating more time to read, to teach my son the basics of guitar playing, and to promote my digital work on the local scene. I realized that all the other photoshop users in my city are working in publicity and no one uses it as a tool to make art. Maybe they're right 'cos they are all making money and except for two or three cd covers I have never seen the green in my hand. Hopefully, I'll find a way to change things and use it for my own benefit.
Enough of me... how about you? How is life and how is dA affecting you?

Hello!!!!!!!!! I found your message very interesting, and I can completely relate to what you say. I have managed to sell a few of my pictures in a local art shop, but I've made very little money out of it. I'm increasingly turning my knowledge to photography as, apart from being much less demanding, there are more commercial possibilities than with manipulation.
I'm getting on fine with DeviatArt, and have a couple of really nice friends who offer me loads of encouragement... however not on my Animarta account, but on my photography account, which is ~Red-Snapper . I'll warn you now that I'm not the world's greatest photographer, so if you check it out don't expect too much
