"We've another job for you, Cirque."
Floating above the entourage on the platform, Cirque doesn't open his eyes. "I am done."
"Done?" The general looks taken aback.
"I tire of your petty wars and needless squabbles. I am done squishing the ant already beneath your boot." Cirque's eyes open. "We are done. You will allow me to leave."
One of the entourage whispers in the general's ear and he shakes his head. "We can't do that Cirque."
The alien's face doesn't flicker. "Then our relationship is terminated." Far beneath their feet one of the boulders Cirque "plays" with rumbles, beginning to rise.
The general's face blanches. "Shut him down! Shut him down now!"
Before the rock reaches their level a visible jolt goes down the wires connected to Cirque's back and he jerks, falling limp in their cradle. The boulder drops with a crash.

He wakes chained. The wires at his back are draining the power from him and for the first time something other than impassiveness appears on the humanoid's face. He looks at the general with rage, his voice echoing in the interrogation room. "You dare chain a god?"
"You said yourself you weren't a god." The man is smug in position, confident that Cirque is weakened beyond ability to stand, let alone fight. The manacles on his arms and ankles bite into flesh, oozing white blood. His neck is ringed with an electrical burn, seeping more blood onto his bare chest. The chemical blue lights tint it an obscene aqua. "I dare do whatever I like with a weapon."
Silence meets his answer, then before his eyes the room impacts, chair splintering and mirror shattering. Fragments of glass and loose items on the table go flying, orbiting the now-standing alien. He snaps the chains with deceptive ease and takes a step forward.
The general has just enough time to feel bone-deep fear before he is nothing but a bloody mist on the air. The doorway follows his plight, and the complex scatters before Cirque's wrath.
No one is left alive to see him leave.

I've challanged myself to try something crazy and miles outside my comfort zone once every month or two. I have wanted to illustrate Cirque's escape from the government complex since the moment I thought him up as a character. He's been there for seven years, killing whatever faction the government thinks may be a threat and eventually he is just sick of it.

And yes, he bleeds white. His eyes are also white and pupil-less. c:
