Description
Here's my full painting for the C18 Aura token! It was a lot trickier than it looks since it had to show both a mask and the resulting aura, in a way that made sense. And then I also wanted to incorporate the butterfly/rorschach motifs... but on a lion? It's a simple illustration but it was pretty challenging!
I tried to give the clouds a sort of spiral shape to pull the whole thing together. And the rocks are inspired by the local sandstone in South West Germany. Chossy but pretty, in real life at least!

actually, my favorite thing is the lighting on the torso. of course, you handled all the supernatural elements very well too. but the torso and the composition of the clouds leading into it is very nice indeed.
