I liked the idea so much that I decided to paint just one character portrait more. This picture doesn’t belong to my “four seasons” even it is a character portrait. As I mentioned Riku has a special gift of understanding animals. In winter he was only in the background without any sings of his talent. In this picture he is in the main role and he is completely surrounded by animals. The animals should be a little bit larger compared to him. He is a cippari child and he is supposed to be about 50 cm tall. I’m still working on his face. He looks a lot like Nini in this picture.I was going to paint this picture in size A4, but I noticed that I had run out of my A4 watercolour paper. I had only A5 left and I really felt like drawing today. The animals where really hard to draw in that size… Colouring the picture was a hard work too. I had to use really small brushes all the time. Tiny animals were especially a head-ace. Colouring took me a longer time then I had expected. The scanned picture is a little bit darker then the original picture. I hope you like it.

When I was colouring it I actually didn’t like the colours at all. Now I'm glad that I didn't try to chance the colours.

It was fun to draw all those little animals. Colouring was quite hard because this picture is really small. I should maybe draw more autumn pictures because in Cippari pictures use most of the time only greens and browns. It’s sometimes a bit boring only to use those colours.

you're welcome. i can imagine, small pictures are difficult to color, but you did amazing with the detail! yeah i like to use a lot of bright colors, that's why i don't do a lot of naturey stuff, but you're really good at it so keep it up! ^^

I like to draw and paint fast. This picture took me already two evenings and one morning. (One for line art, one for colouring and morning for hair and feet) It is a long time for me.
