this is something i've been working on since february.

anyway, one of my favourite parts of the hobbit would have to be when they stayed at the house of Beorn, only because beorn is just the COOLEST CHARACTER EVAR.

so here we have bilbo chilling with some of Beorn's animal friends. Since smaug was unfamiliar with the scent of a hobbit when he first encountered bilbo, i was trying to work with the reaction beorn's animal friends would have had when they met a hobbit for the first time. the title of this is supposed to be what the critters were thinking.

im trying to get as much "the hobbit" fanart out of the way as i can before they make the movie version and i lose my original vision :3

speaking of which, as much as i love james macAvoy, im not sure how i feel about him being cast as bilbo, primarily becuse of the hobbit flashback at the begining of FotR when they show a very ian holmish bilbo finding the ring. which used to bother me because bilbo was so much younger than that on his journey. which is why im glad they cast james macavoy, but its gonna create some awkwardness when "the hobbit" comes out on DVD and i watch the hobbit and LotR consecutively and then having the flashback in FotR.

i really do need a life....i think i'll go draw more fanart

(incase you didn't catch it, that last statement was riddled with hillarious irony)
