MANGA SPOILERS in description.A likely scene in my Furuba fanfiction, at the beginning of chapter 8.
Natsuki Takaya owns Sohma Hatori, the family doctor of the influential and ancient Sohma House. Sohma Kyoko, the newborn that he is having a rare tender moment with, is MY FANCHARACTER, daughter of Shigure and Akito, Hatori's newest little cousin/patient and the first to be totally free of the threat of a curse, because it has been lifted. Hence his reference to the child as spring/hope/rebirth.
I drew it in the hospital while two iv's were in my drawing arm and I was literally half dead. Lay off.

its a very heart warming moment i first thought he was cuddling a pet or something and then when i looked closer it was a child and i thought the child was his, eventhough its not his child I love it, I apologize about the pet comment but i think there needs to be more pics like these very good

I love Tori-san so much, but I know I could never take Kana's place...Not that I would TRY to but...
I love this picture, Hatori can smile again.
If I were to RP/ Fan-character I would want to play as a girl who would always want to be near Hatori.
My girl would probably be upset and afraid that she's causing Hatori pain and internal suffering, but still couldn't bring herself to forget him...

His face here is so expressive. You totally pull off the tearful joy and relief look. His brow and forehead are gorgeous... And the baby's pose and body are well done. I often feel like some artists don't quite grasp the vulnerability and wigglyness (for lack of a better word) of newborns, but you nailed it. And that indignant rage! So like her mama.
Nice job even with the ivs (although I do find myself wondering where some of his fingers went... but I won't be too hard on you considering the whole hospital thing haha).
