I had to draw my new favourite princess as well :3I've loved Cadence since I saw her the first time, and when I saw the toys of her I wanted to squeeeeeee. Then I saw the Season Finale, and she didn't disappoint me the slightest. She's just awesome :'D and her duet with Chrysalis was the bets part <3
So here's a little portrait of her. Just wanted to make a quick background becasue I have lots of other artwork to do, also tried this "paint" style background or what you call it... I like it ^^
(Commissioners and Kiriban winners, be calm, I haven't forgotten you ! )
I can't wait for the toys to come out in the stores *O* though I might have to buy them from USA... They will be sky rocket expensive here in Sweden...

Once again, you turn out an amazing work of art.
I'm seeing nothing but people saying "the finale was amazing" and I agree with them 100%. It truly was, and is, something extraordinary.

I have seen some people whine about it being rushes, but most people loved it ^^

They certainly could have stretched this finale out to two hours with the potential of the content. Doctor Who did about the same thing a couple of years ago, check out the revived series (season) 3 two-part finale for what I'm referring to (and I can't recommend this finale in particular enough. Seriously, it is REALLY good.), and that was written out to two-hours.
That being said, in my opinion, what MLP gave us, was brilliant. I still feel that nothing was shoe-horned in or it felt rushed. Yes, there was a time constraint, but in that same breath, don't drag something out if it is unnecessary.
