*melodykenstara 's character Rel Talon, commissioned by *CarnelianKey . Took me a while to decide the pose I was going to do her in. x)And yes, this means I'm taking commissions again! See my journal for more info: [link]
I tried something new with this - I did the sketch in PS and then printed it out in light blue. I inked it traditionally, then scanned it back in and took out the light blue before colouring. I kind of like this process - I find traditional line art a lot more satisfying, but designing it on the computer is so handy!

I was just talking to someone about that - I feel self-conscious talking about what I did, but when it's other artists I love hearing what they did. x)

Hoooooooooooooooly crap. This kinda smacked me WAY outta the blue. hoooooooly crap I love it so much, from her pose to her facial expression to her HIPS. XD those catch my attention because it's sometimes easy to forget she has those.

The colors are nicely blended and everything looks proportioned in this complex pose.

Yeah, it just doesn't have the same nice texture! But I definitely find it easier to fix composition and everything on the computer. Thank you c: I used a home-made PS brush for a lot of the colouring, which was fun.
