Well, without further ado, I give you Bumblebee. As an orca.
I love his expression on this one, I think he looks like hes chasing something down, or he's just plain curious.. As you can tell, his dorsal is a little jagged because he has been in some battles. (inspired off of the original Transformers) but he is still young.The inspiration actually came from my car, and when I found out that *Orkid has a StarScream orca, I just had to do one. Not to mention this is one of my first line art pieces. Looks like crap though. I did however do most of it with a mouse. His stripes on his back I did use a mouse for, but yet, I still wanted to make it natural looking. Obviously, hes alot better looking now than my first appearance of Bumblebee. Mouse and Wacom Tablet Unknown time I am in no way claiming the character Bumblebee for my own. He is owned by Hasbro. However, my car does belong to me, and the concept for Bumblebee being an orca is mine. However, *Orkid did get the ball rolling for Transformers theme whales...Thank you!

He's looking better with each pass you've done of him. Every new picture of a given character helps hone in their final design as it is.

I think so. There's no need to call too much attention to the background if the subject in question is what you wish to show off.
As for the trade, I was having a similar "versus" idea. Just gotta figure out what action best suits them.

hmm, i gotta watch some of the old episodes, I'm thinkin that Bumblebee is smaller, and Starscream is huge, so maybe a picture of bumblebee nipping his flukes or somthing?? idk. lol

Yes, in a G1 sense, there is a huge size difference between them. In other continuities, like Prime, the height gap isn't as pronounced.
But I think we'll leave however they scale against each other up to each's imagination. Having redesigned only him and no other TF characters, I've only thought of SS against average orcas, and that he's small for a bull - only 15-17 ft. long at most.

Ah, Well, Bumblebee is about the same size as Tang, about 18 ft. long. Once again, I prefer G1 anyday.
