Cruel Fortune..[title from Orff's Carmina Burana]...fate tempts us with temporary good fortune & the illusion of free will...or are we on a carousel,going around & around,unable to break free...philosophy with your cornflakes!*Watercolour, process white & interference colours (for anyone who cares about such things!)...had to tweak it a bit in Photoshop, because the metallic effects didn't scan well.

What you have happening near the bottom of this piece is awe inspiring. The tiny little details in the horse and joker like character and even the ojects falling down from the hand are...wow...stunning. There is only one thing that throws me off slightly is the hand. The middle finger of the hand looks like it's missing the top half of it. It looks like it was supposed to go behind the cloth(or curtian) but it's hard to tell. This is just a minor thing though from a otherwise amazing piece. Great job!

Ah, I hate it when scanners sometimes don't pick up the little details and effects in pieces. Yeah it usually is a pain to get paintings itleast to look the same on screens. Everyone tends to have different settings.
