"bad guys in The cold war"
that really just depends on how you look at it

Какая замечательная картина. И почему при взгляде на нее мне вспоминается не менее замечательное произведение "Der Untermensch"?

I got one thing to say about ''Old'' View of communism. cmon WHO were ''Nice people'' In the old days? i dont see many prime examples. Communism in my eyes are a fully functional system. The view's and intrests in that time line was just wrong. I begg for the chanse for communism to bloom now in the more ''Modern'' Age. Humans need a goal anyhow. With out the best of everyone ''Greater good'' Are we gonna bury our self in religions that just halts progress? Sorry if this cause's a flame war. Really not intended. Just people are scared of whats diffrent and money makes it easy for capitalism to grow..Libralism is simpley a nest for food chains and oil chains... I mean cmon...

But still, calling them "Good guys in WW2" for their pact with Hitler [link] and all the crimes they committed between 1939 and 1945 [link] is either an exaggeration developed from ignorance, or intended showing sympathy towards the henchmen of inhuman regime named communism.

I agree that Russians sustained massive losses to their people, and were certainly subject to many atrocities, but denying the war crimes they committed is a disservice to the Poles, Germans, and Jews (yes Jews), and many others, who suffered at their hands. I need only point out their invasion of Poland, and the subsequent Katyn Massacre, along with the Rape of Berlin, and the millions who died in Soviet Gulags.
That was more aimed at those who dismiss their actions and attribute their reputation to propaganda.
Great picture, I always enjoy your work.

>Often badly commanded and equiped
That was true in summer 1941 - summer 1942. After that RA had no problems with the equipment and control improved drastically. All stories about having one rifle for three men was true only in 1941 and mainly for militia. After that, for example in Stalingrad, there was not enough men to hold all weapons soviet army has. There's a plenty of other myths based on rumors or some single incidents.

Pretty awesome with the russians, idealogies or destruction they caused. These men were very brave men fighting a more sophisticated war machine and against many came back and defeated them in a brutal fashion.

The MAGNIFICENT RATIONS OF GLORIOUS MOTHER RUSSIA surely could not be the source.
Did he.. eat his comrades?

its probably a hidden fact that the russians faced 80% because i've read about 7 books on WW2 over time, and none said that.

Stalin did more crimes against humanity (15 milion more + 5 milion jews). He should have been on the Nürnberg trial and hung (or shot to death).STALIN IS THE GODDAMN BAD-GUY (almost took away Bulgaran Ortodox church and almost made Russians atheists(don't know how is written))
