Disney-propaganda Nazi Submachinegunner, with the party armband that was never worn in combat by simple soldiers.
Soviet Rifleman, take out the worn uniform and he's just a badly shaved farmer. Gotta make the American look good in comparison.

Actually, Soviet soldiers are usually depicted wearing fur trenchcoats and ushankas. The German one is pretty spot on (and I love it).
The GI needs a beard and a Lucky Strike, Yankees always wants to show their manliness with fancy facial hair and tobacco. Ya rly.

I will do my best sir, though I'm only used to flat color and not a shiny, sponge-like daubed on paint job. nonetheless i will take this task and make it a mission of utter importance.

I didn't mean I would've done it flat. I would've tried shading and re-tracing, but the re-tracing is so frustrating with a poop mouse that I've decided I don't really need $20.
