Absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed the book too. I also recommend "Geisha, A Life" by Mineko Iwasaki. She was the inspiration for Memoirs and was one of Golden's main sources for his book and her memoir though not as poetically written gives a real incite into the reality of being a Geisha. If you haven't read it you certainly should. I really enjoyed it. ^_^ take care.
