I love the way the colours contrast with each other... and the lovely swirliness all over the place just makes it so beautiful and soothing to look at. Beautiful work, and I do love the little story to go with it...

I love all of your paintings! They are all so imaginative! This one is one of my favorites with the colors and shapes in the trees, the glowing sac, and the wispy look of the wind. At first I thought the writing included with the picture was from a book or story that interested me but then i saw you made them up yourself! Wonderful job!

Thank you I often come up with some sort of a story when I paint, and this was the case here as well. I should do a better job writing them down.

I would be very interested in reading them! Have you considered doing a story book? I don't know if you would but it would be incredible if you did.

You really have such great detailing, an not just in this one, but in All of your works! I really admire that
I love the colour scheme in this one, especially the contrast between the warm yellow and the cold blue. And all those swirls... Great work, really

i like how at first you just see a bunch of swirls
then they form into a picture (at least that's how i saw it, maybe i'm just weird)
a beautiful picture at that

I used to write a bit in the past, but not so much anymore - it depends on mood and inspiration. I'm glad that you like both my art and text that goes along with it, thank you

I love the swirly style you have going. It makes you stand out as an artist. Also, great color scheme - the surrounding purple makes the viewer focus on the golden "egg". +fav

I don't think sad was my intention really.. but I see your point, she does look a bit sad. It's not a sad theme though, the wind took a ripe fruit from the tree so that a young wind could be born

Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you like it.

I really love the design elements of your pictures with the monotone color. Then there is a burst of another color that draws you in. I also think this is a very good idea for an illustration, the birth of the wind that is. Again you should check out Stephanie Pui Mun Law if you don't already know who she is. [link] You guys have something in common with your style.

Thank you

I'm familiar with Stephanie's work - she's the one who made me want to learn how to use watercolours in the first place, although I never consciously tried to imitate her style... (but I guess that'd explain why you see some similarities)

I really think this piece was a lot of luck, I never was quite able to achieve anything similar ever since 9_9; (though I use watercolours rarely so it could be the reason why..)

I didn't notice the face in the swirls at first..but now I do, it's quite beautiful and fits perfectly in with the rest of the piece.
